A few weeks ago, my friend Grace went to Austin City Limits. She said she saw a lot of cool crafters/artists, and she bought me the cutest plush boombox from the small cat club. The angle makes it look like a pillow, but it’s about 4″ x 6″
Artist/craftista Alicia Traveria makes handmade softies, artwork, and more. Sandy the Bat is one of her handmade “softies.” Each bat is made with a different pattern, and you can also find jumbo versions. Grace bought a little mouse for her daughter, and it gets the toddler seal of approval. If little kids like it, you know it’s really cute.
You should also check out her Sugar Skull Softies. Each sugar skull is made from an original pattern and hand-embroidered. Check out all of her selections at her Etsy shop.
i had SUCH a hard time deciding what to get. the bats are SO cute. and the wings have snaps. you can pose them to hug each other or snap them together. hehe.
i love her stuff. seriously. everything was so darn cute.
mia is still in love with her mouse (which is saying a lot for a 2 year old with a 15 minute attention span. hehe.) … she likes to drag it around. and if she can’t find it she STILL asks me, “where’s my pretty little mouse?” hehe.
lol. I love the boombox. I love it!
it’s soft, quirky and oh so cute.
supah cute, in fact.
