Watching Tara McPherson work on her mural at the Feminality Art Show was pretty amazing. I had a chance to say hello, and she signed my print! I was so giddy.
She tweeted a picture of the finished piece. If you are anywhere near The Hive Gallery, go see it in person. These are phone pictures, so you can’t really see how the colors pop.
I loved these pieces by Rudy Fig.
Tofu Squirrel was another artist doing a live painting. It was fun to see her fantastical creatures come to life. I’m a new fan.
The show continues until the end of the month. Congratulations to Wizard Sleeve Toys and The Hive Gallery for putting this together.
