The Year of the Tiger: Tales from the Chinese Zodiac

2010 is the year of the tiger, and Immedium Press has the perfect children’s book to celebrate it. The Year of the Tiger by Oliver Chin is the fifth book in the Tales of the Chinese Zodiac series. Despite his parent’s warnings, a princely cub befriends a human, the girl Su. But can Teddy prove the jungle is big enough for both man and beast?

I love the artwork; Teddy the tiger is just adorable. I shared a preview copy with our guest reviewer Mia, an opinionated almost-four year old. She  said she liked it “just fine.” Older kids will appreciate the story, too.
