Thanks to everyone who stopped by Supah Pop-Up last night at Leanna Lin’s Wonderland! Everyone had a great time, and the artists appreciated all the support they received from fans, both old and new. (If you’re on Vine, find me Supahcute and Orbital Ox to see a few clips from the evening.)

Hope you’re keeping track of all the great stuff that’ll be happening at Supah Pop-Up tomorrow! Join us at Leanna Lin’s Wonderland for an evening filled with live art, a book signing, and much more!
By now, you already know that Leslie Levings will be live sculpting Beastlies during the event. Not only will she bring a few Beastlies and prints to sell at Supah Pop-Up, but she’ll also something brand-new: laser-engraved wooden Beastlie jewelry!!
Via Leslie’s Tumblr:
I’ve got the two designs you see above, each in either a 1.5” pendant or a 2” pin. This event is your only chance to get these before Comic-Con (I won’t be selling them online until sometime after that).
You will not want to miss this event! RSVP on the Facebook event page, or just stop by tomorrow (6-10pm)! We’ll have free mini-donuts by The Donut Snob and free Jarritos. Plus we’ll have fun goodie bags for those who purchase from the Supah Pop-Up artists.
Here’s a little preview of what Jared Andrew Schorr will be cutting this Saturday, June 8 at Supah Pop-Up! Each soot sprite is meticulously cut by hand and will come in a 4″ x 5″ frame. Each framed piece will be available for the super-reasonable price of $20. (Cash only please.)
Jared will bring a few of these little guys to the event and will cut more pieces in person. If you purchase the Ponyo set from Supah Mashup Art Party, you’ll get a soot sprite for free!
Vanessa Ramirez will be debuting these brand-new mini sketchbooks at Supah Pop-Up! ”Monsters are People, Too Vol. 1″ is a collection of her original sketches and will be available for the introductory price of $5.
Leslie Levings is furiously creating more Beastlies in preparation for San Diego Comic-Con. If you attend Supah Pop-Up, you’re in luck! Leslie will have a handful of Beastlies available for sale at the event. These are in addition to the ones that she will be live sculpting that evening.
But wait… there’s more! Fat Rabbit Farm will have copies of “Big T’s Big Adventure” available for purchase, and catmandru! will have cute prints available for sale. Plus we’ll have free snacks and Jarritos for you to enjoy.
Supah Pop-Up takes place at Leanna Lin’s Wonderland on Saturday, June 8 (6-10pm). This family-friendly event will be held in conjunction with NELAart Second Saturday Gallery Night. RSVP on the Facebook event page, or just stop by!
A note for attendees: participating artists will be selling their art and merchandise directly to customers. If you plan on buying any of these items, please bring cash! It will make life a lot easier for the artists. Thanks for understanding!
These little guys just heard that Leslie Levings will be at Supah Pop-Up on June 8, and they are pretty excited!! Leslie will be live sculpting new Beastlies, and (if all goes well) a few of the newly created Beastlies will be available for sale at the event. She will also bringing a brand new Beastlie product, but you’ll have to come out to Leanna Lin’s Wonderland to see it.
If you attend Supah Pop-Up, don’t miss The Corner Museum of Dubious Beasts. Even though most of the pieces have sold, there are a lot of critters who still need good homes, like this Globular fruitbeast. Who wouldn’t love a Globular fruitbeast?!
Also available is this Antlered Forest Beast, the collaborative piece that Leslie created with Shing Yin Khor. I’m really hoping this finds a loving home, too! See all of the Supah Mashup pieces here.
Jared Andrew Schorr is an illustrator who works with cut paper, and this is one of the pieces he created for Supah Mashup Art Party. This Saturday, June 8, you can meet Jared at Supah Pop-Up and watch his papercutting technique in person! He will be cutting soot sprites which will be available for purchase at the event. The cut paper pieces will come in tiny frames and be super-affordable (in the $20 price range).
Along with his collaboration with Jerrod Maruyama, Jared also worked with Susie Ghahremani. This gouache and cut paper titled “Contrails” is still available, along with Jared’s “The Radish Spirit” (shown above).
Stop by Supah Pop-Up and view all of the available Supah Mashup pieces! Ponyo fans, don’t miss out on this collaborative set by Jared and Jerrod. For art inquiries, please email hello@LeannaLinsWonderland.com.
