Amy Sol “Numina” at Corey Helford Gallery

On March 10, Corey Helford Gallery presents “Numina,” a major exhibition of new work by artist Amy Sol. “Numina” will feature ten new acrylic-on-wood panel paintings.

The opening reception for “Numina” takes place Saturday, March 10 at Corey Helford Gallery from 7-10pm; the exhibition will be on view through March 28.

Nataly (Kukula) Abramovitch at Corey Helford Gallery

On September 24, Corey Helford Gallery presents “Lonely Opulent Things” featuring new works by Nataly (Kukula) Abramovitch.

Her last show at Corey Helford was in 2009, and it completely sold out. For “Lonely Opulent Things,” Kukula will show 12 new paintings, including her largest works to date, and a limited-edition Jacquard tapestry.

The loft gallery will feature “Time Stood Still,” an exhibition of eight new digital paintings by Lithuanian artist Natalie Shau.

The reception for “Lonely Opulent Things” and “Time Stood Still” will take place on Saturday, September 24 from 7-10 pm. The exhibition will be on view until October 15.

Corey Helford Gallery 5 Year Anniversary Show

Corey Helford Gallery in Culver City is celebrating its 5 year anniversary with a new group exhibition on July 1. Featuring more than 50 artists, “Zero to Sixty” includes works by artists who have shown with the gallery since its beginning along with artists who are completely to Corey Helford.


Kazuki Takamatsu

“Zero to Sixty” opens on July 1 with a reception from 7-10 pm. Over half of the artists will be in attendance, and the gallery will unveil a surprise interactive installation. Happy anniversary, Corey Helford!

Luke Chueh “Contemporary Art”

On February 12, Corey Helford Gallery presents “Contemptorary Art,” a solo exhibition of new works by Luke Chueh. The show will feature 16 paintings and a six foot fiberglass sculpture of “Possessed.”

For the opening night reception of “Contemptorary Art”, the audience will become part of the exhibition. Attendees will fill in a blank bear template with their own imagery, which will remain on display as part of the four-week exhibition.

The opening reception will take place on Saturday, February 12 from 7-10pm, and the show will be on view until March 12, 2011.
