Here is a sneak preview of the Cavey x Gary Ham collaboration that will be at SDCC 2012. Even without seeing the finished product, I already want one!!
If you’re attending SDCC 2012, you’ll also see the debut of Gary’s Wooper Looper vinyl, sculpted by Walter Jacott aka Chauskoskis. This photo is the prototype that was shown at last year’s Comic-Con. (I’m bummed that I won’t be attending this year’s event.)

San Diego Comic-Con is almost here!! To get everyone in the SDCC spirit, I’ve compiled a short list of the cutest SDCC Exclusives.
Super Duper Caped Caveys are so cute that they have their own promotional video! There are 4 colorways – 10 of the pink, and 30 each of blue, purple, and black. Each Super Duper Caped Cavey will be available in a different place, so click on the video for more info.
Oh my god, Becky, look at that gut! It’s sooooo cute!! Chris Ryniak’s Unripe Bubblegut (ed. 66) will be at the Super7 booth #4729. Price tag is $140.
The glowing blueberry version of Camilla D’Errico’s Kuro vinyl will be at her booth #4723. This version is $59.99, and the regular Kuro and DIY Kuro will also be available.
As I mentioned previously, Dan Goodsell‘s Frankentoast plush (ed. 1,000) will be available at his booth #4831. Just $10 each.
The Qing Soldier and Qing Pirate by Veggiesomething will be making their US debut at the Squibbles Ink + Rotofugi booth #4736, along with the House of Liu Mini Contemporary Series. Also, House of Liu creator Veggiesomething (James Liu) will be signing for fans on Friday, July 22 from 11am – noon.
Evil Syrup Ninja by Shawnimals will also be at the Squibbles Ink + Rotofugi booth #4736. The handmade plush (ed. 50) will be available for $25. Also, Shawnimals creator Shawn Smith will be signing on Saturday, July 23 from 1-2 pm.
Cookie Dream Babo will be available at Uglydoll booth #3245 for $25.
Fang can be found at So So Happy’s booth #4837.
Fat Rabbit Farm will have 2 versions of fat rabbit plush at booth #4521.
In celebration of Cavey’s first birthday, 12 UK artists each designed a special Cavey, which was transformed into a one-of-a-kind plush. All 12 artist Caveys are now available on ebay! This Cavey x Peskimo plush is too cute!
If you’re able to make it to Cavey’s 1st birthday party on May 26, you’ll be able to find these birthday Caveys – Purple Birthday Badge Cavey, limited to 65 pieces, and Birthday Cake-vey, limited to just 10 pieces.
Any remaining Birthday Badge or Birthday Cake-veys will go into the Hey Cavey shop the next day, Friday May 27 at 20:00 London time, 15:00 Eastern, 12:00 Pacific time. Happy birthday, Cavey!
