In Japan, a 20th Birthday is a “Coming of Age” birthday. It includes ceremonies and parties, and it’s akin to becoming 21 in the US. On October 27, Giant Robot 2 will be celebrating the birthday of Sena, Mari Inukai’s daughter with a group exhibition ‘20 Pieces of Dreams.’
The exhibition will feature Mari Inukai, Sena Inukai, Amy Sol, Audrey Kawasaki, Edwin Ushiro, Elizabeth Ito, Fumi Omori, Katsuya Terada, Kent Williams, Sean Chao, Stella Im Hultberg, Tessar Lo, and Yoskay Yamamoto. An opening reception will take place from 6:30-10:00pm on Saturday, October 27.
Post-It Show 7 is a cash-and-carry show featuring roughly 2,000 original pieces on 3″ x 3″ Post-It notes. Except for some of the larger pieces of 4″ x 4″ or 6″ x 6″, each piece is just $20. See more preview images here.
