Martin Hsu recently revealed the new Dragon Boy colorway at Young Art Taipei Exhibition in Taiwan. Designed for Wingrow Gallery in Taiwan, the brand new colorway is inspired by colors from Chinese folk art. I must have this!!
In addition to the new vinyl figures, 2 life-size fiberglass Dragon Boys (original and Wingrow colorways) were on display at the show, and they both sold! See more photos from Young Art Taipei on Martin’s Facebook page.
Interested in purchasing the new Wingrow colorway? Contact Martin at firstname.lastname@example.org to be placed on a pre-sale list. He will only have a total of 20 APs to release online and at San Diego Comic-Con.
If you preordered the OG Dragon Boy, your wait will soon be over. Martin expects to receive them at his doorstep sometime in June. All pending orders will ship first, and he will be planning a second official release in June.
Save the date! On March 16, WonderGround Gallery in the Downtown Disney® District will be releasing Martin Hsu‘s “Maleficent’s Wish” as a deluxe print. Meet Martin that same day for a special signing from 3-5pm. The original painting was created for WonderGround’s ‘Good vs. Evil’ group exhibition.
The house from “My Neighbor Totoro” really exists! Artist Martin Hsu had an opportunity to visit Satsuki and Mei’s house and has shared photos from his visit on his blog. The post also includes information on Ghibli gift shops he found in Nagoya and details about a special Totoro giveaway he’ll be hosting. Miyazaki Club for life!
