Resin Toy Juried Show at Toy Art Gallery

On June 10, Toy Art Gallery is hosting its first Open Call Resin Toy Juried Show which features both new and established toy artists. The opening takes place from 7-11pm, and the exhibition will run through July 1.

I am not a resin aficionado, but I love this piece from the preview. It should win a “Most Cute” award or something. Just saying!

“Metallic Machinations” at Toy Art Gallery

On December 11, Toy Art Gallery presents “Metallic Machinations,” a group show featuring DrilOne, Cris Rose, Phu, Jester, and Rohby. The show will feature customs and originals that are gritty, rusty, and most importantly, mechanical.

I love this Buff Monster custom by Cris Rose.

Dril One‘s AT-AT is pretty amazing.

The opening reception of “Mechanical Machinations” takes place on December 11 from 7-11 pm. Check out  more preview pics on TAG’s blog.

TAN-KI “When Birds Sing The Song Of The Clouds”

I am so excited about TAN-KI‘s upcoming show at Toy Art Gallery. Just take a look at his work… I’m in love.

On November 12th, TAG, the world’s first and leading toy art gallery, will kick off When Birds Sing The Song Of The Clouds, a showcase focusing on the fascinating creations of French artist Marion Tanguy, better known as Tan-Ki. For his first solo show in Los Angeles, Tan-Ki is focusing on his signature ‘Ki-Clear’ line: small, solid resin figures filled with anything from multi-colored balls to toy soldiers, that are among the most sought-after pieces in the toy art world.

“When Birds Sing The Song Of The Clouds”’ opening reception is November 12th 2010 from 7-11 PM, with music, drinks, a food truck, giveaways and more.
