Everyone who has seen the show in person comments on these pieces by Hiné Mizushima. I love it when I hear things like “I hate squid/octopus, but I love this!” or “I don’t know whether this is creepy or cute! I’ll go with cute!”

The show opens on March 3 at Gallery Hanahou. In conjunction with the show, artist and author of I Felt Awesome Moxie will lead a beginners’ workshop in needle felting on March 5, 1-4pm. The workshop costs $40 – contact info@galleryhanahou.com to sign up.

On March 3, gallery hanahou presents Needle Felting Extravaganza featuring 4 needle felting fiber artists: Hine Mizushima, Kit Lane, Yoko Nomura, and Moxie. Each  artist has a different theme for the show, and the preview images already look amazing.
